HV Silicone Grease
HV Silicone Greases have a variety of applications, including o-ring lubrication, gasket applications, or as a general lubricant. Additionally, silicone grease provides a non-oil alternative for the purpose of lubricating and preventing corrosion in a variety of high vacuum environments.
Selecting a silicone grease to meet your specific operating high vacuum environment requires careful consideration of several important factors. This includes, but should not be limited to, (1) its compatibility with the respective pump fluid, (2) the operating temperature range, and (3) the physical environment in which the grease will be used.
CMP 91-S silicone grease, in addition to equivalency to Dow® high vacuum grease, has an application temperature range from -45°F to 525°F.
